20Efforts to Ensure Safe Transactions and Limitation of Liability
20.1 Principle of Direct Transactions Between Members
Transactions of goods, gifting, and other exchanges conducted through the Service are direct transactions based on the autonomous will of the Members, and the Company acts solely as an intermediary platform provider and is not a party to any such transaction. Where a Member does not expressly object during the notice period and continues to use the Service, the Member shall be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms with respect to non-personal-information-related conditions of use. However, separate explicit consent shall be obtained for:
- Material changes to the scope of personal data collection, use, or disclosure
- Introduction of new paid services or fees
- Changes that materially restrict Members' rights.
Where the Company introduces a new service (such as payment, job listings, or real estate rental), explicit consent to the applicable separate terms shall be obtained, and a Member's refusal of such separate terms shall not affect the Member's use of existing services.
